Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Transportation Planning, Select was held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 2:03 PM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The Chair laid out the proposed Committee Rules.  Senator Nichols moved adoption of the Committee Rules; without objection, the rules were adopted.

The Committee heard invited testimony on the following Interim Charge:

Examine issues related to transportation planning, financing and performance.

All witnesses are shown on the attached list.

There being no further business, at 3:13 PM Senator Nichols moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
