Pursuant to SCR 9 and HCR 56, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on State Water Implementation Fund for Texas Advisory was held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

Co-chair Senator Charles Perry called the meeting to order at 11:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Estes moved adoption of the committee rules; without objection, it was so ordered.

The following members arrived after the roll was called:

The Chair laid out the following business:

The State Water Implementation Fund for Texas (SWIFT) Advisory Committee met to advise the Texas Water Development Board on the administration of SWIFT funds. The committee reviewed the overall operation, function, and structure of the fund at least semi-annually and advised the board on any water related matter.

The following persons provided invited testimony: see attached witness list.

There being no further business, at 1:20 PM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
