Amend SB 3 (senate committee printing) in SECTION 2 of the bill, in added Section 250.009, Local Government Code, by adding the following appropriately lettered subsection and relettering subsequent subsections accordingly:

(_)  A designation of a multiple-occupancy restroom, shower, or changing facility under this section does not apply to a person who identifies as transgender, regardless of whether the person's birth certificate is amended to reflect the person's sex.
