Amend SB 4 (senate committee printing) in SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 2271.002, Government Code, immediately following added Subsection (a), by inserting the following appropriately lettered subsection and relettering subsequent subsections accordingly:
( ) This chapter does not apply to a taxpayer resource transaction between a county with a population of more than 1.5 million in which more than 75 percent of the population lives in a single municipality and a facility licensed under Chapter 245, Health and Safety Code.
