A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the funding of certain governmental entities subject to |
|
|
abolishment on September 1, 2017. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. The following riders to S.B. 1, Acts of the 85th |
|
|
Legislature, Regular Session, 2017 (the General Appropriations |
|
|
Act), are repealed: |
|
|
(1) Rider 6 following the appropriations to the Texas |
|
|
Medical Board (page VIII-35); and |
|
|
(2) Rider 2 following the appropriations to the Texas |
|
|
State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (page VIII-51). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the |
|
|
legislative session. |
