R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert J. Gonzalez of Mission is retiring as a |
|
|
supervisor from U.S. Customs and Border Protection on July 31, |
|
|
2017, drawing to a close a quarter century of exemplary service to |
|
|
that agency; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Gonzalez joined the CBP Weslaco office as a line |
|
|
agent in 1992, and he went on to serve as a senior agent for five |
|
|
years before being promoted to supervisor in 2006; over the course |
|
|
of his distinguished tenure, his outstanding efforts earned him the |
|
|
respect and admiration of his colleagues and fellow citizens alike; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his professionalism and dedication to |
|
|
public service, Robert Gonzalez has greatly benefited the people of |
|
|
Texas, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his many |
|
|
accomplishments as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Robert |
|
|
J. Gonzalez on his retirement from U.S. Customs and Border |
|
|
Protection and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
happiness and fulfillment; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
