R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Moore County Hospital District has been selected
  to receive both the Hurst Gold Standard of Nursing Award and the
  Studer Group Excellence in Patient Care Award; and
         WHEREAS, Presented by Hurst Ratings and Analytics, the Hurst
  Gold Standard of Nursing Award is given to nursing staffs that have
  scored in the top tier nationally on quality indicators in Hospital
  Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys; an
  annual distinction presented by Studer Group, the Excellence in
  Patient Care Award is bestowed on hospitals, health systems, and
  physician organizations that have achieved a ranking at or above
  the 90th percentile in patient experience as assessed by HCAHPS
  surveys; and
         WHEREAS, Created through legislation passed in June 1969, the
  Moore County Hospital District has long served as a vital resource
  for area citizens; today, its wide range of services includes
  emergency and inpatient hospital care, physician clinics, a sleep
  lab, home health care, a nursing home, hospice care, physical,
  occupational, and speech therapy, and a swing bed unit; the
  district employs more than 300 local residents; and
         WHEREAS, Through its exceptional commitment to quality in
  multiple areas of service, the Moore County Hospital District has
  significantly contributed to the health and well-being of area
  Texans, and it is truly deserving of these most recent accolades;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate the Moore
  County Hospital District on its receipt of awards for excellence in
  nursing and patient care and extend to all those associated with the
  district sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the district as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
