LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 85TH LEGISLATURE 1st CALLED SESSION - 2017

August 3, 2017

TO:
Honorable Kelly Hancock, Chair, Senate Committee on Business & Commerce

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB2 by Gonzales, Larry (Relating to the repeal of certain riders for the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists from the General Appropriations Act that are contingent upon the approval of certain Acts continuing those agencies during the 85th Regular Session.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the appropriations made in SB 1, the General Appropriations Act, as certified by
the Comptroller of Public Accounts for the agencies subject to abolition, would be effectuated by
this legislation, and therefore this bill would not have a fiscal implication.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
