No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code requiring municipalities to allow an optional fee in lieu of parkland dedication as a condition of approval for the development of real property.
The bill would take effect December 1, 2017.
Local Government Impact
According to the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal impact to local governments is anticipated.
