HB132 by Reynolds (Relating to the election of trustees of certain school districts.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the trustee election process for Fort Bend ISD to elect a single trustee at large and the remaining trustees from single member districts, grouped into two multimember voting districts. Residents in these districts could vote for each trustee district within the multimember voting district.
The bill would take effect on the 91st day after the last day of the legislative session, or immediately if passed with the necessary voting margins.
