No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code relating to the operation of a utility vehicle on a public highway.
The bill would repeal Section 663.001(4) of the Transportation Code as effective September 1, 2017. The bill would also repeal Section 22(1) Chapter 1052, Acts of the 85th Legislature Regular Session 2017 which repealed 551.401(2) of the Transportation Code.
The bill would take effect immediately if the bill receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, the bill would take effect on the 91st day after the last day of the legislative session.
