No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would change previously established sunset dates for the Texas Historical Commission and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners from September 1, 2019 to September 1, 2021. The bill would change previously established sunset dates for the Texas Military Department, Texas State Library and Archives Commission, and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles from September 1, 2019 to September 1, 2023.
 
The bill would take effect immediately upon enactment, assuming it received the requisite two-thirds majority votes in both houses of the Legislature. Otherwise, it would take effect 91 days after the last day of the First Called Session, 85th Legislature.
