No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require physicians to certify in writing the form of fetal abnormality identified, for certain abortions. The bill would require physicians, who perform an abortion on a woman younger than 18 years old, to report certain information in her medical record as well as to the Department of State Health Services (DSHS). The bill would take effect immediately upon a two-thirds vote from all members of each house or, if such a vote is not received, on the 91st day after the last day of the legislative session.
 
Based on an analysis of the bill, it can be implemented within existing resources.
