HB387 by King, Ken (Relating to the extension of additional state aid for tax reduction provided to certain school districts.), As Introduced

The bill would extend the Additional State Aid for Tax Reduction (ASATR) mechanism through FY19.  More than 90 percent of the revenue anticipated to be distributed under the bill would flow to districts in the two highest quintiles of property wealth per weighted student. The bill would provide revenue to approximately 13 percent of school districts statewide serving just under 5 percent of the total number of students in average daily attendance.
