Amend HB 5 on third reading, in SECTION 25 of the bill as follows:
(1) In added Section 40.021, Human Resources Code, strike added Subsection (g) (page 17, lines 18-22, second reading engrossment).
(2) In added Section 40.024, Human Resources Code, strike added Subsection (c) (page 19, lines 11-12, second reading engrossment) and substitute the following:
(c) A vacancy on the council shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
