Amend CSHB 16 (committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 7, line 7, renumber the current Sec. 51.256 as Subsection "(a)."
(2) On page 7, line 25, insert the following new subsection:
(b) Before a postsecondary educational institution takes any disciplinary action against a student accused of conduct under this subchapter, the postsecondary educational institution must afford the accused student due process.
