Amend HB 25 on third reading as follows:
(1) In amended Section 62.011(c), Election Code, strike Subdivisions (3) through (4) and substitute the following:
(3) casting a straight-party vote, if applicable;
(4) casting a provisional ballot; and
(5) [until the expiration of Section 13.122(d), voting for the first time by a person who registered by mail; and
[(6)] securing an additional ballot if the voter's original ballot is spoiled.
(2) Strike the SECTIONS of the bill that amend Sections 65.011, 105.002(c), 122.001(a), and 129.023(c), Election Code.
(3) Strike the repealer.
(4) Add the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill:
SECTION ____. Section 52.071, Election Code, is amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c) This section applies only to a ballot voted by a person who requires access to a polling place that meets the requirements of Section 61.012.
(5) Renumber the SECTIONS of the bill appropriately.
