Amend HB 744 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 1, lines 6 and 7, strike "Except as provided by Subsection (b), a [A]" and substitute "A".
(2) On page 1, lines 8 and 9, strike "[or] corporation, or other legal entity," and substitute "the state, an agency or institution of the state, or a political subdivision of the state, [or corporation]".
(3) On page 1, strike lines 19-24.
