Amend HB 1378 (house committee printing) as follows:

(1)  Strike page 1, lines 5 through 8.

(2)  On page 1, line 9, strike "Sections 253.037(a) and (c), Election Code, are" and substitute "Section 253.037, Election Code, is".

(3)  Renumber remaining SECTIONS of the bill accordingly.
