Amend CSHB 1774 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 3, line 19, strike "Subsection (b)" and substitute "this section".
(2) On page 4, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following appropriately designated subsection:
(____) This chapter does not apply to an action filed by a claimant who is a veteran of the armed forces of the United States on a claim arising from damage to or loss of property that is financed through the Veterans' Land Board.
