Amend CSHB 1774 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) Insert the following SECTION and renumber all subsequent SECTIONS as follows:
"SECTION____. It is the intent of the Legislature that this Act apply only to claims filed under residential property insurance policies."
(2) On page 2, line 18 insert the following between "claim" and "that":
"filed under residential property insurances policies"
