Amend CSHB 3287 (house committee printing) as follows:
(1) On page 4, between lines 1 and 2, insert the following:
(e) The holder of a permit issued under Chapter 19, 20, or 21 who sells ale to a brewer under Subsection (d) must:
(1) physically remove the ale from the brewer's premises, transport the ale to the permit holder's closest permitted premises, transfer the ale to another distribution vehicle, and return the ale to the brewer's premises during the same 24-hour period; and
(2) reimburse the brewer for any storage fees assessed for storing the delivered ale.
(2) On Page 6, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following:
(e) The holder of a license issued under Chapter 64, 65, or 66 who sells beer to a manufacturer under Subsection (d) must:
(1) physically remove the beer from the manufacturer's premises, transport the beer to the license holder's closest licensed premises, transfer the beer to another distribution vehicle, and return the beer to the manufacturer's premises during the same 24-hour period; and
(2) reimburse the manufacturer for any storage fees assessed for storing the delivered beer.
