Amend CSHB 3859 as follows:

1. On page 3, at the end of line 22 insert "or"

2. Strike "; or" on page 3, line 26 and insert a period.

3. Strike page 3, line 27 through page 4, line 1.

4. On page 4, between lines 7 and 8 insert a new Subsection 45.003(c) to read as follows:

(c) Sections 45.004, 45.005, 45.007, 45.009 and 45.010 apply to a single source continuum contractor in this state that is not a governmental entity in the same manner as those sections apply to a governmental entity.
