Amend HR 4 (adopting the permanent rules of the house) in Rule 4 (page 64, between lines 20 and 21), by inserting the following:
Sec. 18B. DOCUMENTS OF APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE. On request of any member of the house, the Committee on Appropriations shall provide to the member, as soon as practicable, any documentation or other written or electronic information submitted to the committee or a subcommittee in connection with the general appropriations bill or another bill or resolution pending before the committee.
