Amend CSSB 1 (house committee report) by adding the following appropriately numbered rider in Article III of the bill following the appropriations to the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth (page III-189):

____.  Contingency for HB 1913. Contingent on the passage of HB 1913 or similar legislation by the 85th Legislature authorizing the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth to offer a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, none of the funds appropriated within the bill pattern for the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth may be expended on costs associated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree program.
