Amend CSSB 1 (house committee report) in Article I of the bill, following the appropriations to the Office of the Attorney General, by adding an appropriately numbered rider to read as follows:

____. Expenses Resulting from Congressional Redistricting Litigation. None of the funds appropriated to the Office of the Attorney General by this Act may be spent for the purpose of appealing the decision regarding congressional redistricting rendered by the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in Perez v. Abbott.
