Amend CSSB 4 (house committee printing) on page 5 by striking lines 3-11 and substituting the following:
Sec. 752.055. COMPLAINT; EQUITABLE RELIEF. (a) A complaint asserting facts that support an allegation that a local entity or campus police department has violated Section 752.053 may be filed with the attorney general only by an officer, employee, or agent of the entity or department. The person filing the complaint must include a sworn statement with the complaint stating that to the best of the person's knowledge, all of the facts asserted in the complaint are true and correct.
