Amend CSSB 4 (house committee printing) on page 5, following line 27, by adding the following appropriately numbered section and renumbering the sections and references to those sections accordingly:
Sec. 752.____. PROTECTION FOR REPORTING VIOLATIONS. A local entity or institution of higher education may not suspend or terminate the employment of, or take other adverse personnel action against, a public employee who in good faith reports to an appropriate law enforcement authority the existence of a policy of the employing entity or institution that violates Section 752.053.
