Amend CSSB 6 (senate committee printing) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:

SECTION ___.  Subchapter B, Chapter 769, Health and Safety Code, as added by this Act, applies only to an accommodation provided to a student on or after the effective date of this Act. An accommodation provided to a student before the effective date of this Act is governed by the law in effect immediately before the effective date of this Act, and that law is continued in effect for that purpose.
