Amend Senate Floor Amendment No. 3 by Buckingham by striking the text of the amendment and substituting the following:
Amend CSSB 316 (senate committee printing) in SECTION 6 of the bill, in added Section 481.0765, Health and Safety Code (page 6, between lines 31 and 32), by adding the following new subsection:
(d) A prescriber or dispenser is not subject to the requirements of Section 481.0764(a) if the amount of controlled substance prescribed does not exceed a 72-hour supply.
