Amend CSSB 735 (senate committee printing) as follows:

(1) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 36.157(b), Utilities Code, (page 1, line 30), strike "March" and substitute "June".

(2) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 36.157(b), Utilities Code, (page 1, line 32), strike "a base rate" and substitute "base rates".

(3) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 36.157(b)(2), Utilities Code, (page 1, line 38), between "return" and "as demonstrated", insert "on equity".

(4) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 36.157(c)(1), Utilities Code, (page 1, line 49), between "commission-approved" and "return on equity", insert "rate of".

(5) In SECTION 1 of the bill, in added Section 36.157(c)(2), Utilities Code, (page 1, line 53), between "commission-approved" and "return on equity", insert "rate of".
