Amend CSSB 2094 (senate committee printing) in SECTION 1 of the bill, immediately after added Section 424.003, Government Code (page 2, between lines 8 and 9), by inserting the following appropriately numbered section:
Sec. 424.___. EFFECT OF CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION. (a) The office of the governor shall revoke a grant under the grant program established under this chapter if the local law enforcement agency is found liable in the final adjudication of a civil rights action related to the agency's participation in the program.
(b) A local law enforcement agency described by Subsection (a) is ineligible to apply for a subsequent grant under the grant program established under this chapter.
