Committee Report (Unamended) |
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
Interested parties note that if a school district does not consider input from students when adopting a curriculum initiative, both the district and the students are deprived of an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue. H.B. 1585 seeks to ensure that students are able to provide input before the adoption of a major curriculum initiative.
