ANALYSIS
C.S.H.B. 2725 amends the Local Government Code to include as a member of the board of directors of a stormwater control and recapture planning authority a representative of the Texas Department of Transportation appointed by the Texas Transportation Commission. The bill replaces as members each member of the state legislature whose legislative district is wholly or partly in the territory of the authority with a member appointed by such a member of the state legislature. The bill prohibits a person from serving as a director on such a board if the person holds another public office.
