Committee Report (Unamended) |
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
Interested parties contend that some navigation districts in counties without a county treasurer face difficulties in accessing and using certain district funds. S.B. 1131 seeks to address this issue by authorizing a designated officer of such a navigation district to make certain payments in a manner consistent with applicable payment procedures without authorization by a district treasurer.
