A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to job order contracting for an airport, air navigation |
|
|
facility, airport hazard area, or roadway controlled and operated |
|
|
by a joint airport board. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 22.074, Transportation Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: |
|
|
(f) Notwithstanding the exceptions provided by Section |
|
|
2269.402, Government Code, a joint board may use the job order |
|
|
contracts method under Subchapter I, Chapter 2269, Government Code, |
|
|
for a project described by Subsection (c). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
