A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the repeal of certain statutes allowing a county |
|
|
attorney or commissioners court to accept gifts or grants to |
|
|
finance or assist the operation of the office of county attorney. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. The following provisions of the Government Code |
|
|
are repealed: |
|
|
(1) Section 45.104(b); |
|
|
(2) Section 45.125; |
|
|
(3) Section 45.145(b); |
|
|
(4) Section 45.189(b); |
|
|
(5) Section 45.194(b); and |
|
|
(6) Section 45.243(b). |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
