A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to certain practice locations for licensed specialists in |
|
|
school psychology. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 501.260, Occupations Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) A person who is licensed under this section may provide |
|
|
school psychological services under the supervision of a |
|
|
psychologist licensed under Section 501.252 in a clinical setting. |
|
|
For purposes of this subsection, a clinical setting is not required |
|
|
to be a public school. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
