A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the compensation provided to the governing body of |
|
|
certain special districts. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 775.038, Health and Safety Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(a-1) A commissioner of a district is entitled to receive |
|
|
compensation in the same manner and amount as are provided by |
|
|
Section 49.060, Water Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. Sections 775.038(a), (b), and (c), Health and |
|
|
Safety Code, are repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
