A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|

|
relating to a fiscal note statement regarding increased costs to |
|
|
counties and municipalities. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Chapter 314, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Section 314.006 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 314.006. STATEMENT REGARDING COSTS FOR COUNTY OR |
|
|
MUNICIPALITY. The board shall include in each fiscal note a |
|
|
statement indicating whether the bill or resolution may create an |
|
|
increased cost for one or more counties or municipalities. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
