A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the treatment of certain types of water by water |
|
|
treatment specialists. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Chapter 1904, Occupations Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subchapter C to read as follows: |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER C. PRACTICE BY CERTIFICATE HOLDER |
|
|
Sec. 1904.101. TREATMENT OF CERTAIN WATER. (a) For |
|
|
purposes of this section, "graywater" and "alternative onsite |
|
|
water" have the meanings assigned by Section 341.039, Health and |
|
|
Safety Code. |
|
|
(b) A person who holds a certificate issued by the |
|
|
commission under the program established under this chapter may |
|
|
treat graywater and alternative onsite water. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
