A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

|
relating to the inspection of towing companies and vehicle storage |
|
|
facilities by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. The heading to Section 2303.056, Occupations |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2303.056. PERIODIC [AND RISK-BASED] INSPECTIONS. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The heading to Section 2308.059, Occupations |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2308.059. PERIODIC [AND RISK-BASED] INSPECTIONS. |
|
|
SECTION 3. The following provisions of the Occupations Code |
|
|
are repealed: |
|
|
(1) Sections 2303.056(c) and (d); and |
|
|
(2) Sections 2308.059(b) and (c). |
|
|
SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
