A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a special bill of review to reform a final judgment of |
|
|
forfeiture of a bail bond. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Article 22.17, Code of Criminal Procedure, is |
|
|
repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The repeal by this Act of Article 22.17, Code of |
|
|
Criminal Procedure, does not affect the validity of a special bill |
|
|
of review that was filed before the effective date of this Act and |
|
|
that is pending before a court on the effective date of this Act. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
