CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4310 has been adopted by the house of |
|
|
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for |
|
|
enrollment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be |
|
|
corrected; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED by the 85th Legislature of the State of Texas, That |
|
|
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed |
|
|
to correct House Bill No. 4310 by adding the following SECTION 2 to |
|
|
the bill and renumbering SECTIONS of the bill accordingly: |
|
|
SECTION 2. Section 8472.201, Special District Local Laws |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 8472.201. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS AND OTHER |
|
|
OBLIGATIONS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the [The] |
|
|
district may issue bonds or other obligations payable wholly or |
|
|
partly from ad valorem taxes, impact fees, revenue, contract |
|
|
payments, grants, or other district money, or any combination of |
|
|
those sources, to pay for any authorized district purpose. |
|
|
(b) The district may not issue bonds payable wholly or |
|
|
partly from assessments. |
