R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Christina Yee and Vincent Sun exchanged the vows of |
|
|
matrimony on September 17, 2016, at Kim Son Restaurant on Bellaire |
|
|
in Houston, to the great delight of their family and friends; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Natives of Sugar Land, Ms. Yee and Mr. Sun have |
|
|
known each other since second grade, and they started dating in |
|
|
2005, while still in high school; the couple both attended The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin, where each earned a bachelor's |
|
|
degree, Ms. Yee in Asian studies and Mr. Sun in economics; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The bride is the daughter of Loan Nguyen and Paul Yee |
|
|
and works as an accountant for Paul Yee Business Services; the son |
|
|
of Stephanie and Vican Sun, the groom manages Sun's Wholesale Club |
|
|
and has experience in real estate and accountancy; Ms. Yee and |
|
|
Mr. Sun have been involved in Lunar New Year Houston since 2008, and |
|
|
in their spare time, they enjoy riding bikes, cooking, and |
|
|
traveling; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The wedding of Christina Yee and Vincent Sun marks |
|
|
the profound deepening of a bond that has grown in love, respect, |
|
|
and understanding with each passing day, and it is truly a pleasure |
|
|
to congratulate them on their good fortune in finding one another; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Christina Yee and Vincent Sun on |
|
|
their marriage and extend to them sincere best wishes for a lifetime |
|
|
of happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Yee and Mr. Sun as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
