R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Melvin and Ruby Wegwerth of Robinson celebrated |
|
|
their 65th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2017, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1952, Mr. and Mrs. Wegwerth |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at Trinity Lutheran Church in |
|
|
Riesel, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in |
|
|
each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Wegwerth count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their two sons, Rick Wegwerth and his |
|
|
wife, Arlene, and Randy Wegwerth and his wife, Imelda, as well as |
|
|
their three granddaughters, Casidy, Emory, and Summer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six and a half decades, Melvin and Ruby Wegwerth |
|
|
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |
|
|
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Melvin and Ruby Wegwerth on their |
|
|
65th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
