H.R. No. 355

	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is home to more than 180 craft
	breweries whose workers share a unique passion for their industry
	and take an intense pride in continuously creating products of the
	highest caliber; and
	WHEREAS, The work of these craft brewers embodies the
	entrepreneurial spirit of Texas small business owners; and
	WHEREAS, Laws passed by the 83rd Texas Legislature allowed
	craft breweries in the state to deliver an economic impact of $2.3
	billion in 2013, and another $3.77 billion in 2014; moreover, Texas
	craft beer producers provide thousands of jobs directly at
	breweries and brewpubs throughout the state, and the industry is
	one of the top five fastest-growing manufacturing sectors in the
	country; and
	WHEREAS, Continued support for craft breweries will lead to a
	larger positive effect on the Texas economy, bringing more jobs,
	higher-quality products, and increased tourism to our state; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
	Legislature hereby recognize February 9, 2017, as Craft Brewers Day
	at the State Capitol and extend to all participants sincere best
	wishes for an informative and enjoyable day in Austin.
