R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned three |
|
|
decades, Cody and Gena Miles celebrated their 30th wedding |
|
|
anniversary on December 18, 2016; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Miles exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in Waco on that memorable day in 1986, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed couple count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their son, Dylan Cody, as well as their |
|
|
granddaughter, Tayler Ann, with whom they treasure spending many |
|
|
special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 30 years, Cody and Gena |
|
|
Miles can savor a wealth of cherished memories and know that the |
|
|
strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more joyful |
|
|
times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cody and Gena Miles on their 30th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
