R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Richard and Carleta |
|
|
Reichert of Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage |
|
|
on December 17, 2016; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Rick Reichert and the former Carleta Threadgill were |
|
|
joined in matrimony in 1966 at Trinity Heights Church of the |
|
|
Nazarene in Waco; over the years, they have been blessed with a |
|
|
treasured family that includes their son, David Reichert, and their |
|
|
daughter, Jen Brown, and her husband, BJ; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Longtime residents of Waco, Mr. Reichert has owned |
|
|
and operated a local business for 43 years and Mrs. Reichert is |
|
|
retired from the Waco Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Reichert have enjoyed five decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Rick and Carleta Reichert on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Reichert as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
