R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Admired educator LaToya Wynne has greatly benefited |
|
the children of Klein Independent School District through her |
|
dedicated service over the course of nearly a decade; and |
|
WHEREAS, Now the executive director of elementary teaching |
|
and learning, Ms. Wynne first joined the district as a teacher at |
|
Lemm Elementary School; she went on to become principal at Epps |
|
Island Elementary; and |
|
WHEREAS, In 2016, Ms. Wynne was awarded a summer leadership |
|
fellowship by The Principals' Center at the Harvard Graduate School |
|
of Education; she was selected as 1 of just 95 professionals to |
|
participate in the prestigious leadership academy through the |
|
sponsorship of Raise Your Hand Texas, a nonprofit advocacy |
|
organization working to strengthen and improve public education; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Children are the Lone Star State's most precious |
|
resource, and LaToya Wynne has demonstrated an exceptional |
|
commitment to providing young Texans with a strong foundation on |
|
which to build a happy, productive future; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby honor LaToya Wynne for her contributions to the |
|
Klein Independent School District and extend to her sincere best |
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Wynne as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
